My poor parents had no money for family presents one Christmas so my Dad being the creative type collected pictures, wrote a month by month story about their new baby, Melissa, and made the first Me Book. Black and white pictures, old punch computer paper, and glue made up the year one, 1976.
Almost 30 years later Dad's version is much more high tech and glossy. The Me Book is the best scrap book & family history record around because it contains all the embarrassing large glasses & 80's hair photos plus a month by month record of all the Llewellyn’s over the last 3 decades. Not wanting to let the tradition fade once the youngest Llewellyn graduates high school this December, we are starting our own Me Book, The Me Two. Not because we feel self-important or particularly like to keep track of what we do and how much we work (we have calendars, schedules, and email for all that), because our first baby is on the way!
