Four Years.

It has been four long years since we lost Drew. It is still as raw and painful as the day it happened... only we have been so long without him. We tried to explain that Uncle Drew was gone, passed away, no longer with us, etc to Westbrook. He was confused and did not really care to understand. All Westbrook cares to know is that he once hung out with his Uncle Drew wearing a mask. He has the picture in his room and sees it every day.

Westbrook offered to help Wade pick out "the most perfect shirt" to wear when they were getting ready to go celebrate Drew's life... and of all 200 shirts in Wade's closest, Westbrook picked Drew's Charlotte Soccer Club t-shirt. How about that?

Below is one of my favorite pictures with Drew. Our parents and Ben were living in Australia. Mis, Dan, Wade, Drew, and I went to Grammy Llew's for Easter. It was a fun day for a left-behind-Llewellyns gathering.
